Chris Daughtry stepdaughter death: 7 unanswered questions as her concerning messages to arrested boyfriend are revealed

CHRIS Daughtry’s stepdaughter’s death has left more questions than answers, as concerning messages to her arrested boyfriend are revealed.

The American Idol alum’s stepdaughter, Hannah Price, 25, and boyfriend Bobby Jolly, 24, were dating when they were arrested together back in April of this year in what authorities deemed a road rage incident involving the alleged discharge of a weapon.

However, their social media interactions from February of this year show a contentious back-and-forth between the pair.

Hannah took to Instagram to post under a photo of Bobby, writing: “Ugly.”

About three weeks later, Bobby responded to Hannah’s comment and said, “F**k you, how bout you hop your funky a** the f**k up off of my s**t! Sorry, not sorry….”

Hannah’s body was first discovered on Friday, November 12th, and since then how she died, who found her and even the answer to the simplest question of where she was found still remains a mystery.

WHERE WAS HANNAH'S BODY FOUND?

Where Hannah’s body was found is still unclear almost a week after her death was first reported.

While initial reports suggested the 25-year-old had been found dead in her Nashville apartment, the Medical Examiner’s office handling her autopsy was able to confirm that she was definitely not a Nashville death case.

The Regional Forensic Center of Knox County – which oversees a total of 23 counties’ deaths in Tennessee exclusively revealed to The Sun that Hannah would have had to have died in one of the counties they oversee since they are handling her autopsy.

The focus of Hannah’s death investigation seems to point in the direction of the small county of Fentress, where the 8th District Attorney, Jared Effler, has held a tight grip on information coming out from his county's various law enforcement divisions.

WHY WAS HER BOYFRIEND ARRESTED?

While authorities have said that Bobby was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in his alleged hit-and-run case, The Sun can exclusively reveal that that warrant was filed back in June of this year- when he failed to appear in court on the hit-and-run charges he and Hannah were facing.

However, that warrant did not appear to be pursued until Hannah's body was discovered on Friday- when Bobby was picked up by the Fentress Sheriff's Department and his custody was handed over to Putnam County Sheriff earlier this week, as that is where the pair's hit-and-run case is being heard.

The Sun can also exclusively reveal that Bobby had a hearing for his capias warrant on Wednesday and that he remains behind bars in Putnam County as of Wednesday night.

Bobby's attorney in his Putnam case told The Sun that he is handling the 24-year-old's alleged hit-and-run case only and added that he "cannot comment on any potential charges that may arise in the future in any other jurisdictions."

Bobby has not been charged with any crime or any involvement in Hannahs's death.

WHY DIDN’T SHE SHOW FOR COURT RECENTLY?

Hannah had been faithfully attending and keeping up with her court hearings for her charges in her hit and run case with her boyfriend, yet she failed to appear in court on November 3rd. At that time a warrant was issued for her arrest, the Putnam Criminal Court Clerk exclusively told The Sun.

Hannah was found dead 9 days later.

THE ‘INJURIES THAT CAUSED HER DEATH’?

Hannah’s mother, Deanna Daughtry, posted a carousel of photos of her late daughter shortly after her body was found and captioned the post:

"My firstborn. I love you endlessly Hannah. Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah.

"We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken."

WHY WAS HER DEATH REPORTED AS HOMICIDE?

In the early days after Hannah’s body was found, TMZ had reported that Chris and Deanna Daughtry were told that their daughter’s death was being investigated as a homicide.

However, by Monday, DA Effler released a statement with few details about the investigation into Hannah’s death.

In the statement, Effler’s office wrote: "This is a death investigation and any attempt to classify it as a homicide investigation at this time is premature and irresponsible."

The shocking turn came after detectives informed Daughtry and his wife Deanna that Hannah's passing was due to homicide, TMZ reported.

WHAT DID HANNAH’S RECENT IG POSTS MEAN?

Hannah's social media activity in the weeks leading to her death also paints a grim picture.

In one of her last messages on Instagram, she wrote: “Look around and love somebody the world’s been hateful long enough” and added the hashtag iloveyouasyou are.

WHO SHOT OUT HANNAH’S EYE?

Hannah was allegedly shot in the face as she was caught in a run-in with gang members in Humboldt, Tennessee, the New York Post reported.

While Hannah had revealed alleged details of the incident, it’s unclear who shot her, or if she ever reported the incident to authorities.

According to one of Hannah's Facebook posts, the shooting happened when she was taken to "a place where she did not feel safe" by a "friend she barely knew."

Hannah claimed she was shot as she tried to save her friend's life after teenagers who wanted to join a gang tried to kill him.
