THE worst bosses in the UK are found in Norwich, a survey shows.
More than four in ten workers polled in the city said they had a boss from hell who treated them with contempt.
And almost half the Norwich workers said they had left a job solely because they could no longer stand working for their manager.
The city is the home of Steve Coogan’s cringe-worthy creation Alan Partridge — who regularly put his personal assistant, Lynn, through hell.
Leeds had the next highest proportion of horrible bosses, followed by Bristol, Stoke-on-Trent Cambridge and Cardiff.
The poll, for self-employment tech specialist Wise, also found a third of staff felt a bad boss affected work performance.
