FIVE people are dead and three are seriously injured after being shot in a Texas home with an AR-15 late last night.
San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a shooting in Cleveland, Texas, 55 miles north of Houston.
The youngest victim of the shooting was 8-years-old.
Two other victims were found lying on top of two children who survived, according to local police.
The suspect is on the loose, and is described as a Hispanic male, 5'8'', wearing blue jeans, black shirt and work boots.
The suspect is not only armed, but also intoxicated, according to initial reports.
Locals are warned to stay indoors and stay alert.
Texas was rocked by a mass shooting this time last year, when 21 victims died in the Uvalde shooting.
On May 24, 2022, the citizens of Uvalde, Texas were alerted to a shooting that was taking place at Robb Elementary School.
18-year-old Salvador Ramos intruded upon the school and fatally shot 19 students and two teachers.

An additional 17 people were injured from the horrific ordeal but survived.
State governor Greg Abbott said in a press conference: "When parents drop their kids off at school, they have every expectation to know that they're going to be able to pick their child up when that school day ends. And there are families who are in mourning right now.
"The state of Texas is in mourning with them for the reality that these parents are not going to be able to pick up their children."
