TWO kids and two adults were found dead in an alleged “murder-suicide” at a home in Colorado, reports say.
Neighbors were left stunned as cops made the discovery at a property in Gleneagle on Saturday.
Two children and two adults were found dead inside the property, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.
Their identities have not been revealed and their ages remain unknown at this time.
A neighbor told KDVR: “We’ve never had anything like this out there.”
Another said: "We just have to all stand together as a community and work together."
First responders from El Paso County, Monument, and Palmer Lake were scrambled to the scene after receiving a call at around 10am on Saturday.
The caller said help was needed at the property.
Residents in the neighborhood were told to shelter and lock their doors and windows as a reverse 911 call was issued.
The order was stood down hours later and police do not believe there is a threat to the community.
One resident, known only as Joe, thought it was the fire service at first as he heard sirens.
Then, he saw a black armored vehicle transporting crews from the El Paso Sheriff's Office's tactical support unit.
He told the Gazette: "It felt like we were being invaded."
Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office line at 719-520-6666.
The investigation remains ongoing.
