There will be plenty of sunshine through the weekend in the metro area with a dry and mild weather pattern into the coming week.
The Denver weather forecast calls for sunny skies on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
On Saturday the high temperature in the city will be about 40 degrees, with a forecast high of 48 on Sunday and 49 on Monday, the weather service said. Overnight low temperatures in Denver, into next week, will be in the upper teens to to lower 20s.
An approaching storm system will bring a chance of snow to the mountains late on Wednesday into Thursday morning, according to the NWS forecast. The snow accumulation is expected to be minimal and mainly over higher terrains.
Thanksgiving Day in Denver will be sunny, according to the forecast, with a high temperature near 47 degrees.
