Desperate search for missing girl, 16, who vanished from the Forest of Dean two days ago

  • Chloe Chant, 16, from Gloucestershire, has not been since 7.30am on Monday
  • She was due to attend college that day but she failed to arrive, police said
  • She is 5ft 5in, of a slim build, wears glasses and has shoulder length curly hair

Police are desperately searching for a teenage girl who was reported missing missing two days ago.

Chloe Chant, 16, was last seen in the Lydney area of Gloucestershire at 7.30am on Monday when she left for college.

However, officers said she did not arrive and they are concerned for her welfare. 

Police are concerned for the welfare of 16-year-old Chloe Chant after she failed to arrive at college on Monday 

She is described as being 5ft 5in, of a slim build, wears glasses and has shoulder length curly blonde hair which has recently been dyed a dark blue/black colour.

She was last seen in Lakeside Avenue, Lydney, wearing a green parka jacket which has a fur hood, black ripped jeans, a black sweatshirt which may have white writing on the front and blue and white Nike trainers.

She has links to Bristol and Gloucester as well as the Forest of Dean, police said.

Officers have visited the areas Chloe is known to visit but, after being unable to locate her, have now appealed for information from the public.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said: ‘Anyone who has seen Chloe since Monday or knows of her possible whereabouts is asked to please call police on 101 quoting incident 177 of 4 October. If seen at the time of calling dial 999.

‘You can also give information through the Missing People charity on 116 000 or you can find out more information through the charity’s website www.missingpeople.org.uk/police.’
