Donald Trump dialled into Fox News to discuss the current state of US foreign policy and issued a stern warning over China. The former president suggests China might move against Taiwan after the Winter Olympics in Beijing. Mr Trump argued that Xi Jinping and China ‘no longer respected’ due to the action of President Biden’s administration after he left the Oval Office.
Mr Trump told the ‘Fox & Friends’ hosts: “None of this happened with us.
“They didn’t send bombers over the middle of Taiwan.
“He knew not to do that. I had a very good relationship with President Xi.
“He knew very well, we can’t send bombers over Taiwan.

“None of that stuff happened and they’ll wait till after the Olympics, then they’ll do something with Taiwan now.
“They no longer respect us,” he added.
“They watched Afghanistan, they watched our generals not knowing what they were doing.
“They saw all of that and they’re watching very closely.”

Mr Trump continued: “They’ll be doing things Russia will be doing things and maybe even North Korea will be doing things because they’re watching our country.
“We are psychologically weak.
“We built a military, I built a great military.
“We had jet fighters that were 40 and 50 years old, We have new everything we’re in such great shape but you still have to have the brainpower to know how to use it.”

Mr Trump has slammed the Biden administration over the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Trump sat down with GB News presenter Nigel Farage on Wednesday for a bombshell interview in which the former president attacked the record of the Biden White House.
The former US president branded the decision to pull US troops out of Afghanistan as the “most embarrassing moment in our history.”
Trump told Farage on GB News: “If you look at what’s going on and Afghanistan with the withdrawal, which was, I think the most embarrassing moment in the history of our country.”
