Brussels health inspector Inge Neven frustratingly snapped at a BBC reporter during questions on the European rollout of coronavirus vaccines. The BBC News correspondent asked whether it was disappointing that vaccines centres that have the capacity to vaccinate thousands of people a day are near empty. Ms Neven snapped that she was frustrated but there was nothing that she could do. 

This comes as frustration grows at Emmanuel Macron after he attacked and questioned the effectiveness of the Oxford vaccine.

This backlash continues to grow as the United Kingdom continues a successful vaccination programme across the country in comparison to EU member states.
