A couple caught an Evri driver allegedly stealing packages by switching what was inside the parcels when they followed his van after receiving the wrong trainers.
Chaye and LQ had just returned to their London home after being on holiday when the driver, from the company formerly known as Hermes, dropped off his package which was meant to contain Nike trainers.
But upon realising that they had received the wrong brand, the pair followed the bloke in his van only to discover that he was switching out the contents of people's packages and stealing the goods for himself, the TikToker claims.
A video of the incident on June 16, which has gained more than 96,400 likes, shows the driver appearing to look sheepish as police searched his van after LQ claims he spotted the shoe box he should have had through the window.
The clip was captioned: "First day back in the UK from holiday and already an incident occurs. @akidnamedlq ordered dunks from Nike.
"They were being delivered by Evri instead he got a pair of cheap trainers, probably worth around £30. So we go find the van."
"Police are called as the driver attempted to drive off and didn't want to give us the shoes he stole," LQ claims.

In the comments, Chaye claims "This could have all been avoided. We just wanted what we paid for. He got defensive when we asked to see the dunk box in the back.
"He wouldn't give us what was ours and he attempted to drive off many times, so we held him until the police arrived.
"I'm glad we're able to share our story and spread awareness. This shouldn't happen to anyone. No one should ever feel the need to steal from others."

TikTok users were furious in the comments after seeing police taking a number of parcels out of the back of the white transit van that had been allegedly damaged or tampered with.
One user wrote: "Glad you found him. Luckily my evri driver is always this old guy and he comes through with the sneakers. Shout out to Gary."
Another added: "Hermes trying to rebrand like they don't have the same drivers."
A third said: "I’m so glad you caught him in the act."

A fourth quipped: "Now called Evri because evri parcel is either late, lost or stolen."
Evri has confirmed in a statement that they are aware of the incident and the driver is no longer an employee.
The statement read: "We are aware of the video and have conducted a full investigation, we have a zero-tolerance policy of theft and this isn’t representative of our 22,000 plus hard-working couriers. We can confirm that the courier no longer delivers on behalf of Evri.”
It is not clear whether any arrests were made as a result of the footage.
The Daily Star have contacted the Met Police for a comment.
