A desperate family has launched a hunt for their missing son after he left home dressed only in his pyjamas.
Relatives of Josh Hicks, from Grimsby, Lincolnshire, said they are worried sick for the 14-year-old boy.
Stepmother Lacey Langridge, 27, said she and other family members were searching for him all night after he vanished at 7.20pm yesterday.
She said someone told her he had been handed a coat and some tracksuit bottoms after saying he was too scared to go home.

Ms Langridge said: ‘There was an argument last night and after it Josh left the house, this was at around 7.20pm.
‘The only sighting of Josh after that is on Convamore Road, Grimsby at 7.30pm when someone gave him a coat and tracksuit bottoms, but we have no description of these clothes.
‘Apparently he told the person that he would be sleeping on the floor tonight and that he was too scared to go back home.
‘None of us have slept and we’ve been searching throughout the night, we’re trying to do everything we possibly can.
‘I feel like we should have eyes on him by now, but we’re out of our minds and haven’t got a clue what to do next. We’re going out and looking again today.
‘With it being bad weather we’ve gone to supermarkets and other places that have shelter. We don’t know if he might be somewhere with his friends.
‘We have contacted the police and we’re waiting for them to make the relevant enquiries and update us when they can.’

The family has been supported by friends and neighbours, with many turning up to help look for the boy.
Some have also helped by providing them with torches to help the search last night when light and visibility became poor.
Lacey says all she wants is for Josh to return to them safely, adding: ‘I want him to come home, he is loved and we’ll sort out any problem.’
Humberside Police have been contacted for comment.
