THE ashes of a grieving woman’s mum have been lost in the post.
Kayleigh Evans, 36, encased Christine’s remains in a pendant after she died with Covid aged 62 last December.
Kayleigh, from Swansea, South Wales, posted the touching tribute to her aunt Michelle 250 miles away in Colchester, Essex, five weeks ago.
But it never arrived.
She said: “Royal Mail hasn’t got a clue where the necklace and the ashes are. My auntie’s devastated. They blamed it on a strike first of all.
“Part of my mother’s floating around somewhere. It’s heartbreaking.”
