Female cyclist in critical condition after collision with coach on London's cycle superhighway

A FEMALE cyclist is fighting for her life after a collision with a coach on London's cycle superhighway.

The woman in her 30s was hit by the coach as she travelled along the CS2 highway in Tower Hamlets at about 9am this morning.


She was rushed to hospital in a life threatening condition after suffering cardiac arrest, emergency services told the Evening Standard.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman added: “There are road closures and diversions in place. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

“Officers from the Met's Roads Transport Policing Command are investigating.
