Foreign Office issues Storm Oscar weather warnings for Spain and Portugal

Weather warnings have been issued for Spain and Portugal as Storm Oscar continues to rage across the holiday hotspots.

The UK Foreign Office has updated its guidance and urged travellers to follow instructions of local authorities in the areas.

The Canary Islands, Madeira, Porto Santo and the Azores are all affected by the guidance.

Weather warnings have also been issued by the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET), as well as the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IMPA), after the UK’s Met Office previously warned of massive waves and possible flooding abroad through the vicious storm.
