Shocking video has emerged of a man pulling a "knife" on a driver outside a petrol station as tensions over fuel shortages boiled over.
The footage shows the man kicking the driver's door and appearing to throw a knife onto the car hood.
He shouts at the driver and bangs on his window and gestures that the driver has supposedly cut the queue.
While the Citroën owner remains inside the car, the man kicks on the door and throws the apparent knife over to the windscreen.
It then escalates as the motorist revs his engine and drives into the man – pushing him onto the bonnet.
The incident took place outside a Shell petrol station in Welling, South East London, on Monday evening (September 27) as long queues of cars lined up to purchase fuel.
Stefan Silva witnessed the brawl when he was leaving the petrol station and shared the video to Instagram.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police told Daily Star: "Police were called at 14:37hrs on Monday, 27 September to reports of a disturbance involving two motorists outside a petrol garage in Bellegrove Road, Welling.
"Officers attended and found no trace of either vehicle. No injuries were reported and no suspects were identified.

On Friday, two groups of men wrestled in rage after getting into an argument while queueing for diesel at an Esso petrol station in Sidlesham, near Chichester in West Sussex.
Video captured the four of them throwing punches and high kicks on the ground.
The surge in demand has come after a shortage in lorry drivers has reduced the supply of fuel to the country's forecourts, with thousands running out over the past few days.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said: "We are starting to see panic buying moderate with more grades of fuel available at more petrol stations."
The UK is estimated to be short of more than 100,000 lorry drivers – causing problems for a range of industries, including food suppliers and supermarkets, in recent months.
