A daycare operator in Georgia is facing murder charges after an infant in her care was found dead.

Amanda Harris Hickey, 45, who owns the Little Lovey Day Care, turned herself into authorities at the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning after finding the four-month-old child unresponsive in a crib, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported.

Police were unable to resuscitate the child and she was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Hickey was subsequently arrested and booked by Dunwoody police and now faces felony charges of murder and cruelty to children.

Authorities have yet to give details on the child’s cause of death or evidence against Hickey, whose daycare had no violations in recent years, according to 11alive.com.

She is being held without bond.
