A TODDLER has suffered life-changing injuries after being bitten by a Doberman dog – and a woman has been arrested in relation to the attack.
The three-year-old girl was bitten by the dog in Hampshire, and been left with what police describe as "life-changing injuries".
Hampshire Police were called at 6.35pm on Monday after reports the tot had been bitten by a dog on Botley Drive, Havant.
She was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment, where she remained on Tuesday.
Her injuries are reportedly not life-threatening but are life-changing.
The dog, a Doberman, has been seized by police.
A 44-year-old woman from Havant has been arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
She remains in custody at this time.
