Heart-stopping video shows daredevil running up 500ft Humber Bridge and doing HANDSTANDS on top

THIS is the heart-stopping moment a thrill-seeking climber starts doing gymnastics atop the 500ft Humber Bridge.

Shocking footage shows the Polish thrillseeker pulling off a death-defying handstand on one of the bridge's gigantic south tower.

The video, which has already racked up 75,000 views on YouTube, follows the masked daredevil's journey to the very top of the bridge.

The 15-minute clip starts with the assailant travelling to the bridge in the pitch-black early morning hours.

He casually sips from a flask of herbal tea before climbing a support cable using just his hands and feet.

He the then sits and watches the sun rise as he makes himself a second drink – muttering "beautiful English morning" as night turns into day.

Oblivious drivers pass below as the hooded climber runs down one of the huge support cables holding up the carriageway.

He then says: “Hello viewers. I’m sure if you know, but I do know now what is cool in UK. In UK, among other nice bridges, and I’m just standing on top of one of them.

“It is not a skimpy bridge. It’s the tallest bridge in this country.

“Seriously, I shouldn’t be here. First of all, climb up here is forbidden and also I don’t have a time. I ain’t got time for being here."

He then pulls of a range of death-defying acrobatics – seemingly unaware that a single slip could prove fatal.

Afterwards, he packs up and begins his descent saying: “All good things come to an end, let’s go down then."

A spokesman for the Humber Bridge said: "We are aware of the incident and are undertaking a full investigation.

"The Humber Bridge Board has a zero tolerance policy towards people who illegally climb the bridge. We have successfully prosecuted previous offenders and will not hesitate to prosecute again when necessary."
