Hollywood icon Angie Dickinson is looking healthy and relaxed as ever as she stepped out to pick up the mail.  

DailyMail.com spotted the Dressed to Kill actress last week – the day before her 90th birthday – in Beverly Hills wearing a gray hat, vintage Guess sweatshirt with ‘Why Not Wear The Best’ on the front and sneakers. 

This is the first time the nonagenarian has been spotted in public in over three and a half years. 

Angie co-starred with Michael Caine in the Brian De Palma cult classic in 1980. She is perhaps is best known for her role as Sergeant Leann ‘Pepper’ Anderson in the NBC crime series Police Woman, which ran from 1974 to 1978, becoming the first woman to play a cop.

DailyMail.com spotted the icon last week in Beverly Hills wearing a gray fedora, vintage Guess sweatshirt with ‘Why Not Wear The Best’ on the front and sneakers

The sighting came the day before her 90th birthday, which she celebrated last week

This is the first time the nonagenarian has been spotted in public in over three and a half years

Angie has attracted attention since 1954, when she appeared in five TV shows.

She had a role in the original 1960 version of Ocean’s 11 opposite Frank Sinatra as Danny Ocean, playing his wife Beatrice, and reportedly had a 10-year affair with the star. 

Angie also had a cameo in George Clooney’s 2001 reboot of the Las Vegas heist movie.

Born in North Dakota as Angelina Brown, she went on to enjoy a colorful love life that included a reported ten-year affair with Frank Sinatra plus trysts with the iconic singer’s Rat Pack pal Dean Martin and President John F. Kennedy.  

She was married twice, first to Gene Dickinson from 1952 to 1960 then composer Burt Bacharach between 1965 and 1981.  

However Angie’s life took a tragic twist when their daughter Nikki Bacharach, who was her only child, committed suicide in 2007 aged 40. 

The icon received a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame for her contribution to television in 1987

Angie was delighted to be interviewed by her longtime lover Frank Sinatra when he stood in for host Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show in November 1977

Aside from Ocean’s 11, Angie has starred in more than 50 films including director Rober Vadim’s risque comedy Pretty Maids All In A Row in 1971.

The icon received a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame for her contribution to television in 1987. 

Angie’s last film performance was in 2004’s Elvis Has Left The Building and she was last seen on TV in 2009’s Mending Fences.

However she has appeared in a number of documentaries and news shows since then including last year’s PBS documentary about another of Sinatra’s Rat Pack pals Sammy Davis, JR.: I’ve Gotta Be Me.

Back in 2010 when she was 79, Angie reflected on her life and career telling NJ.com: ‘I was lucky.

‘I came along at the right time for so many great things. I met some great stars and stayed friends with many and lovers with some. It was a fantastic life, really. And it still is.’
