Horror as skydiver calls his wife to say he WON'T be pulling his parachute cord minutes before jumping to his death from plane

A SKYDIVER in Florida sent a video to his wife telling her he wasn't going to pull the cord on his parachute, minutes before he leaped to his death from a plane.

Police in DeLand, around 40 miles north of Orlando, said Capotorto Vitantonio's wife, Costanza Zitellini, ran into Sky Dive DeLand on Tuesday after receiving the horrific clip.

She begged an employee to stop her husband, who radioed up to the plane, but it was too late.

A police report said 27-year-old Capotorto, an experienced sky diver with 600 jumps, didn't open his parachute.

According to the report, Capotorto told his wife in the video that he was going "somewhere wonderful."

The Sky Dive DeLand employee told investigators that Capotorto seemed "normal" before going up.
