Emergency services have rushed to a property in Sydney’s north-west that was partially destroyed in a landslip on the Hawkesbury river.
NSW SES said crews attended the scene at Richmond Lowlands on Monday afternoon following reports of a major landslip. The house on Edwards Road was unoccupied at the time and no injuries were reported.

The landslip was caused when the river bank fell in, taking the house with it, the NSW SES says. Crews barricaded and secure the area with NSW Police, Ambulance and Fire and Rescue also in attendance.
A spokeswoman for NSW Fire and Rescue said the incident occurred about 12.20pm. The local council was in attendance with the area now taped off.
The incident comes as residents across the state continue to battle the clean-up stage of the latest flood emergency.
As of last night, just 4500 people remained under evacuation orders as residents continue to be allowed to return home. This figure is down from 37,000 the previous night.

Resilience NSW announced on Monday that recovery teams were currently in the process of establishing recovery services in hard-hit areas, bringing face-to-face support to flood victims.
The teams will help residents with accommodation advice, clean-up advice, business support, financial assistance, mental health support, community services and legal and insurance guidance.
The NSW Rural Fire Service currently has more than 620 personnel deployed throughout the state, assisting with the clean-up effort.
Despite easing weather conditions, a hazardous surf warning still remains across all coastal areas across the state. Last night, Crowdy Head near Port Macquarie recorded a peak wave height of 4.8m.
The Bureau of Meteorology warns large waves are also possible later in the week.
The recent heavy rainfall has also increased the likelihood of stormwater pollution across Sydney’s beaches, with swimmers urged to wait a few more days before returning to the water.
