To say I’m not a morning person would be an understatement. But early wakeup calls are a fact of life and always have been, regardless of my own internal clock. It’s a good thing I love coffee as much as I do, because day after day, the smell of freshly brewed java has been my main incentive for getting out of my deliciously cozy bed without hitting snooze (more than once).

For years, I relied on my programmable, 12-cup drip coffee maker. But I’m the only coffee drinker in the house, so when that machine finally tapped out, I decided to switch to a single-serve brewer, the Keurig K-Supreme Plus Smart Coffee Maker. It's official: I understand what all the buzz was about! I’m obsessed with my smart Keurig to say the least — and right now, it happens to be on sale at Kohl’s along with a few other bestselling Keurigs that each have their own specific charm.

Keurig K-Supreme Plus Smart Coffee Maker

Okay, okay, I’m not exactly breaking ground here. Keurig has long had a cult following — but unless you’ve upgraded lately, you may not realize just how innovative these machines have gotten. Take mine, for instance: the Keurig K-Supreme Plus Smart Coffee Maker has the ability to customize my cup based on my personal preferences, from strength to temperature. It’s kind of like having a barista take up residence in my kitchen.

It’s hard to even compare my smart Keurig to my trusty old drip coffee maker, even after all those years of loyalty. A pot of coffee came out just fine each morning in that machine, but this single-serve brewer always turns out an exceptional cup of the good stuff without fail. It uses something called MultiStream technology to completely saturate the grounds in a K-Cup pod, producing the richest possible coffee. Bottom line: It’s superior even to the earlier Keurig models that my friends use.

Best of all, I can still program my coffee to brew each morning with the Keurig K-Supreme Plus Smart Coffee Maker. In fact, I can do it from anywhere using the Keurig app on my smartphone. I just schedule a time — the machine already remembers my favorite settings. So on those days I forget to program it the night before, I can just make my coffee from bed. Does that facilitate my morning laziness? Yes, but I’m totally okay with it.

Keurig K-Select Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker with Strength Control

While revisiting the Kohl’s page where my beloved coffee maker is being sold, I happened to navigate over to a few other Keurig models. And guess what? Yep! They’re also on sale. In fact, I found one that’s $30 off, and it’s a bestseller. The Keurig K-Select Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker with Strength Control is an affordable $110 right now (with code TAKE15) in your choice of seven colors, including graphite, matte white and turquoise.

This one lets you choose from four brew sizes too, from six to 12 ounces. Since it prides itself on brewing coffee oh-so quietly, this would be a crowd-pleaser on a Saturday morning. It also has a strong brew feature that, true to its name, lets you control the strength and intensity of your joe. As a dark roast connoisseur, I can appreciate a feature that lets you go bold.

A favorite feature among reviewers, though, seems to be the built-in filter — always a convenient touch. “I didn’t know there was a filter involved!! How cool is that! This design is perfect for the little barista in me,” wrote one shopper of their vintage red Keurig.

Keurig K-Cafe Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee, Latte & Cappuccino Maker

When I upgrade from my current Keurig, it’s going to be to this distinguished device: the Keurig K-Cafe Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee, Latte & Cappuccino Maker. Betcha didn’t know the Keurig even ventured into full coffee-shop territory! Yes, get your oat milk restocked because this Keurig is about to brew some pretty fancy drinks indeed — but it also turns out regular coffee.

Make a latté or a cappuccino by brewing a shot of espresso straight from a K-cup, then use the machine’s dishwasher-safe frother to foam up that milk. This machine comes with a 60-ounce reservoir so you can serve up specialty drinks for a crowd. If you’ve already got a Keurig you love, like I do, this is a great companion coffee maker. Especially right now: It’s $50 off.

‘I can’t begin to say how much I love my K cafe. I have owned it for about three weeks and have enjoyed the most delicious lattés and cappuccinos of my life. No more trips to the big chain coffee shops!” a fan wrote. “The milk frother really takes this machine over the top and makes it far and away the best value on the market…I gave my K cafe a five-star rating, but I’d give it 10 stars if I could!”

Keurig K-Duo Single-Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker

I love the convenience of a single-serve coffee maker, but every now and then I miss having a full carafe. It definitely came in handy when I had a lot of guests over. That’s why I kind of regret not investing in a pod/carafe hybrid like the Keurig K-Duo Single-Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker. You can brew up to 12 ounces with the single-serve feature or you can make a pot that holds up to 12 cups.

One thing I didn’t love so much about my old coffee maker was that the coffee was sometimes lukewarm, but this Keurig has a hot plate that keeps its glass carafe piping hot. It also has a Strong Brew button that makes sure your coffee is as bold as possible. And yes, this one’s programmable. I continue to be fascinated by how far Keurigs have come — I want them all! Right now, you can grab this baby for $153, down from $230, with code TAKE15.

“We love everything about this brewer,” wrote a fan. Apparently, that includes Keurig’s customer service. “I bought my husband this brewer for Christmas and it started not brewing the right amount. Well, one call to Keurig and we received a new one in two or three days. They are so easy to deal with and we are so happy we bought this brewer. You can buy one with confidence!”

Keurig K-Mini Plus Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker

If you’re not looking for all the bells and whistles, this little cutie is the single-server for you. At just 5 inches wide, the Keurig K-Mini Plus Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker is perfect for small spaces. It’s like the old mini, but this one brews an intense cup of joe. Even though it’s a Mini, it can fill cup sizes between 6 and 12 ounces and mugs up to seven inches tall.

The lightweight machine is made for portability, with easy cord and pod storage. This one’s compatible with the My K-Cup Universal Reusable Coffee Filter for convenience, too. Save $10 with this sale, and choose from matte white or teal.

“I had a classic Keurig I got from my mom when she no longer was using it. It was still working great when I decided to downsize. The classic Keurig just took up so much space,” wrote a five-star reviewer. “Keurigs are solidly build and with care will last a long time.”
