SHOPPERS have blasted a Christmas market as "overpriced" – saying there are massive queues and pancakes that cost a whopping £15.
Brits browsing the Edinburgh market have slammed the £15.00 pancakes, £8.50 chips and £7 mulled wine sold by vendors.
Some have gone so far as to dub the market in Scotland the most expensive in the UK for the rip-off nosh on offer.
And their woes don't stop there. Visitors have also complained about being forced to queue for over half an hour to enter the market.
Speaking yesterday, many punters shared their experiences of the annual market.
Chloe Hamilton, 21 said: "It's been expensive and sh**.
"It's so overpriced, we went last year and it was quite good, a lot cheaper but it's smaller and overcrowded now – it's been a waste of time really.
"I had a drink here last night and it was £9.50 for two shots of alcohol which is pretty expensive.
"We we're going to try and do some Christmas shopping here but you could just walk into the high street and get better for a lot less."
Kate Hyatt, 20 said: "It's always been expensive, it's part of it.
