Ilford shooting: Two men dead and third fighting for life in London bloodbath | The Sun

TWO people have been shot dead and a third is fighting for life following a shooting in East London.

Armed police were scrambled to the scene in Ilford just after midnight after shots were heard during a fight.

They discovered three men suffering from gunshot wounds following the bloodbath.

One of the men, aged in his 20s, was declared dead at the scene while another sadly died a short time later.

A third man, in his 30s, was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

There have been no arrests with road closures in place while officers investigate.

The Met said officers believe they know the identity of the first victim but are working to identify the second.

A spokesperson said: "An investigation is ongoing after two males were fatally shot, and a third left critically injured, following an incident in Ilford.

"Police were called by LAS at 00:16hrs on Tuesday, 25 October to Henley Road, Ilford, following reports of a fight in progress and shots fired.

"Armed officers were among those responding.

"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
