Inside squalid flat covered in poo and takeaway boxes where baby died after weeks of neglect by vile mum, 25

SHOCKING pictures show inside a squalid flat covered in human faeces where a cruel mum left her baby to die.

Little Nafahat Diini died of a treatable chest infection after suffering weeks of neglect at the hands of Fartun Jamal, 25.

The 11-month-old was forced to live in the "chaotic and dirty" home in Brent Park, North West London.

The cramped and filthy flat was littered with takeaway boxes, dirty plates and nappies.

Paramedics found Nafahat in a broken cot in a room where human faeces had been been smeared on the walls and window.

Today Jamal was jailed for five and a half years after being found guilty of causing Nafahat's death by neglect.

But they warned Jamal before the visit and she cleaned up before they arrived.

On the day Nafahat died, a second unannounced visit was arranged.

Instead, paramedics were scrambled by a neighbour after Jamal said claimed she had had a dream that her daughter had "stopped breathing" then found her lifeless.

“She died of an illness that was very, very treatable if Jamal had bothered to seek medical attention.

“What is even more harrowing, is that her GP’s surgery was less than 70 metres away from where she died and could be seen from Nafahat’s bedroom window, so help for Nafahat was within very easy reach.”
