Jacinda Ardern’s adorable daughter has stolen the show by staying up past her bedtime to gatecrash her mum’s Covid-19 briefing.
The New Zealand Prime Minister uploaded a Facebook Live video from home on Monday night to update Kiwis on changes made by cabinet as the Delta outbreak eases.
Restrictions will be eased in Covid-ravaged Auckland from Wednesday with lockdown measures expected to be phased out within weeks.
Less than three minutes into Ms Ardern’s Facebook Live update, three-year-old Neve can be heard calling out ‘Mummy’.

‘You’re meant to be in bed darling,’ Ms Ardern says while turning away to speak to Neve as the camera continues rolling.
‘It’s bedtime darling, pop back to bed, I’ll come and see you in a second. I’ll come and see you in a minute, OK? Nanny will take you down to bed.’
The tot is taken back to bed by Ms Ardern’s mum.
The Prime Minister apologised to viewers and laughed off the interruption as a bedtime fail.
‘Sorry everyone, I thought ‘Here’s a moment, I’ll do a Facebook Live, we’re nice and safe,’ she said.
‘Does anyone else have kids who escape three or four times after bedtime? Thankfully, my mum’s here.’
A few minutes later, Neve returns to interrupt her mum a second time, demanding what the hold up was from coming to say goodnight.
‘I’m sorry darling, it is taking so long, okay,’ Ms Ardern replied.
She then turns her attention back to viewers to wrap up the briefing.
‘I’m sorry everyone, I’m just going to pop Neve back to bed because this is way past her bedtime,’ she said.
Ms Ardern hopes to do “extended, uninterrupted version” of the Facebook Live chat in the coming days.
New Zealand’s biggest city has been in lockdown for nearly three months with almost 4500 cases recorded since August.
Ms Ardern and her partner of eight years Clarke Gayford welcomed daughter Neve Te Aroha in June 2018.
She’s only the second elected female leader to have a child while in office and the first since Benazier Bhutto in 1990.

The couple remain tight-lipped about the actual date of but have previously announced they will marry this summer in Gisborne on the North Island.
The Fish of the Day television host and keen angler hinted a seafood feast will be served at the reception, depending on the weather and his catch of the day.
‘I hope so. We will see how it goes,’ Gayford told the AM show.
‘I think so. I think it’s all still happening.’
He confirmed the wedding will be held in Gisborne and ruled out the New Years long weekend which coincides with Rhythm and Vines, New Zealand’s biggest music festival.
‘I think so. I think it’s all still happening’ Gayford added.
‘We are all worried about R&V and events and we’ve got a goal to work towards so fingers crossed.’
