TV CHEF Jamie Oliver wants vending machines selling unhealthy snacks to be ditched in the workplace.
The 45-year-old said many workers eat “crap” such as crisps and sweets only because their employers do not provide nutritious food.
Speaking yesterday, the dad-of-five said serving up Britain's workforce 'crap' food was not 'a democracy' – and that there should be more nutritious food available.
He said: “Does anyone give a s*** about vending? Of course not. But it’s huge.
"Often in workplaces that don’t supply lunch or dinner, employees have no other source.”
He added: "I'm saying if you've got 5,000 people taking 999 calls, with three shifts a day and no food on offer for two shifts, it would be morally right to have choice.
"If there's only crap (food available), that's not democracy."
