Joe Biden’s shoulder bore the brunt of the excrement but the US President appeared unaware of the bird business as he continued his address in Menlo, Iowa on Tuesday. The unfortunate incident saw Mr Biden become the target of ridicule from amused social media users.
“It’s about being made in America,” Mr Biden said moments before the rouge defecation.

Clips of the gaffe soon went viral on Twitter with Donald Trump Jr writing: “Even the birds know. Apparently, a bird just [s***]on Biden in Iowa.
“That bird speaks for anyone who’s filled their tank or gone shopping in the last 18 months.”

He was joined by US conservative author Brigitte Gabriel who wrote: Even the birds don’t respect Joe Biden!”
Elsewhere Twitter user @LangmanVince said: “Joe Biden getting crapped on by a bird today was literally the best thing that’s happened to him during his time in the White House.”
President Biden’s public approval rating fell to 41 percent this week according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

The 41 percent approval rating was just above Biden’s all-time low of 40 per cent hit in mid-March, one of the lowest levels of support in his presidency.
The poll found Americans want Biden to prioritize economic issues, with 27 percent saying the economy is the most important problem facing the United States today.
On Tuesday, Biden unveiled plans to extend availability of higher biofuel blends of gasoline during the summer to curb soaring fuel costs and to cut reliance on foreign energy sources.
Democrats are widely expected to lose control of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate to Republicans, who would likely block many of Biden’s legislative efforts.

The two-day national poll found 53 percent of Americans disapprove of Biden’s job performance. Only one-quarter of Americans said they believe the country was headed in the right direction.
President Biden told the crowd in Iowa that will change this summer, if only temporarily.
“You’re not going to show up at your local gas station and see a bag over the pump that has the cheapest gas. You’re going to be able to keep filling E15,” Biden said.
He added there is more to do to bring down gas prices. “It’s not going to solve all our problems,” Biden said.
