LI man who posed as cop to lure teen blames ‘drugs and alcohol’

The Long Island man who allegedly posed as a cop to try and abduct a pair of teenage girls chalked the incidents up to “drugs and alcohol” while being walked to a police cruiser Friday.

“I don’t really remember everything… I don’t really remember a whole lot,” a cuffed 46-year-old Donald Cristiano Jr. said outside Suffolk County Police Department 1st Precint.

Cristiano is accused of telling two girls, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, he was a cop and luring them into his SUV near Lindenhurst Memorial Library around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday by offering them a ride, police said.

When they reached the library, the creep allegedly told the 16-year-old to get out of the car saying he wanted to talk to the 14-year-old.

Cristiano drove off to a nearby park and started touching the younger girl before she fended him off, police said.

The man was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, first-degree criminal impersonation and luring a child, cops said.
