Queensland will reopen to vaccinated travellers without the need for quarantine next Monday, December 13.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said there were no new community cases recorded on Monday, with three cases in hotel quarantine, two from interstate, one from overseas.

Queensland’s fully vaccinated rate was sitting on 78.67 per cent, with the state on track to hit the key 80 per cent benchmark later this week.
Ms Palaszczuk said they wanted to provide certainty for everyone, and to ensure the state had reached the 80 per cent target once the borders were relaxed.
“You must have a negative COVID test in the previous 72 hours. So, please, you’ve got this date now so you can go and start organising that test,” she said.
“No quarantine is required if you are fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, you must arrive by air only and hotel quarantine for 14 days.”
Queensland now considers one week after the second dose to be “fully vaccinated” and all arrivals from domestic hot spots must get another COVID test on day five after their arrival.
