A MAN has fallen to his death at a building site today after being hunted by cops over a bar attack.
Cops were called to reports of a man acting aggressively at a bar on The Broadway in London at 2.44am this morning.
The man reportedly assaulted a number of people before leaving the bar.
Officers then searched for him – before a 33-year-old man feel from a height at a nearby building site.
Police carried out first aid before paramedics arrived, but the man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been told about his death and cops are investigating.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Police were called at 02:44hrs on Sunday, 1 August to reports of a man acting aggressively at a bar on The Broadway in Hammersmith.
"Officers attended and it was reported the man had assaulted a number of people before leaving the scene. They began a search of the area to track down the man.
"A short time later officers became aware of a 33-year-old man who had fallen from height on a nearby building site. They carried out emergency first aid until the arrival of paramedics.
"Despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 03:03hrs. His next of kin has been informed. A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
"As is routine in these circumstances, the Met's Directorate of Professional Standards and the Independent Office for Police Conduct has been informed. The Health and Safety Executive has also been made aware."
