A scorned husband has been accused of setting his ex-wife’s parents house on fire – then hitting her with his car.
Pablo Patino-Bustos went to his parent in laws’ home in Texas, US, where his estranged wife was staying at the time.
Authorities say that at approximately 3.30 am Patino-Bustos set the house on fire in a bid to lure the woman out.

Police added that he was waiting outside the property in a vehicle, which he then used to run her over as she fled the blaze.
Fox News reports that Logan Saldana, the victim’s 23-year-old brother, heard his sister screaming while he attempted to extinguish the fire.
He said: "I heard her say, ‘What’s going on?’ and he drove off. I heard the car screech off, do a doughnut, and he came and hit her with the car and drove off."
After the incident Patino-Bustos fled, evading officers for two days before his current wife reported his whereabouts and officers descended on the house.
Cops say Patino-Bustos had a firearm and initiated a standoff with armed SWAT teams.
