A MAN has uncovered a secret lair underneath a major national train station – leaving viewers utterly perplexed.
Luke Douthwaite, 23, was meeting up with a group of friends when he decided to show off his intimate knowledge of Sheffield.
In a video taken on the day and shared on social media site TikTok, Luke can be seen walking over to an area of chrome covering the stone steps at the city's station.
In a surprising move, he grasps a metal loop at the bottom, revealing it’s actually a "hatch".
Lifting up the hatch, the laboratory technician from Pontefract, West Yorkshire, reveals it is in fact a secret tunnel, leading to a secret door.
Luke does not enter the tunnel and simply says “There you go!” leaving droves of users to speculate as to what the tunnel really is.
