Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed that they are expecting their second baby – who will automatically be eighth in line to the throne.
The 36-year-old Prince and his 39-year-old wife shared their heartwarming news on Valentine’s Day by announcing that their one-year-old son, Archie, is set to become a big brother.
As royal baby fever commences, fans of the couple are already remarking how the bundle of joy will be in line for the UK throne – even though the baby is expected to be born and raised in the USA.
Harry’s father, 72-year-old Charles, Prince of Wales, is first in line to the throne, followed by 38-year-old William, Duke of Cambridge.
While the children of William and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, are the next three in line – with seven-year-old Prince George ahead of five-year-old Princess Charlotte and then two-year-old Prince Louis.
Prince Harry is sixth in line, with 21-month-old Archie Mountbatten-Windsor seventh in line.
The arrival of Harry and Meghan’s new baby will push Andrew, Duke of York, into ninth in line to the thrown.

Announcing their news on Sunday, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
Baby number two is expected to be the last for Harry and Meghan after they previously stated they want to keep a small family for themselves to help protect the environment.
In the September 2019 issue of British Vogue, which was guest edited by Meghan, Harry spoke to Jane Goodall about climate change and the impact of families on the world.

Ms Goodall suggested the Prince may not want to have "too many" children – with the Royal commenting he and Meghan would have "two maximum".
Harry and Meghan's pregnancy announcement comes just days after the Royal Family expanded by one more.
On Tuesday, Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank became first time parents with the arrival of their son – who is currently 11th in line to the throne.
