Meghan Markle is set to write a wellness guide as part of a publishing contract the duchess and Prince Harry signed with Penguin Random House.
It was revealed last week that Prince Harry is set to publish a memoir next year – which he says will examine the "highs and lows" of his life as a Royal.
The publication will coincide with the year of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Meghan will pen one of the four books agreed to in the deal and is said to be focussing on wellness and health as the main topic of discussion.
Two publishers are reported to have flown from London to California to take part in a bidding war for the rights to Prince Harry's book
A source told the Mail: "He conducted negotiations – he had a very 'take it or leave it' attitude.
"His starting price was $25m (£18m) and the final figure was way north of that, possibly as much as $35 to 40m (£25-29m).
"Those involved were actually very shocked by his approach, which was to look at them coldly and state his demands: $25million."
News that Harry will be writing his memoir has prompted one royal expert to to say he has "gone rogue".
Meghan's book topic is close to home as she is known to be committed to a healthy lifestyle and wellness, both mental and physical wellness has been a priority for Meghan to promote.
