Mia Khalifa jokes she’s ‘getting abortion’ before ‘cheeky devil’ launch

Mia Khalifa has joked she's "getting an abortion" after telling fans she was "overjoyed".

The OnlyFans legend, 30, announced she was "bursting with pride" over her new jewellery brand, Sheytan, which finally launched today (Monday, July 10) after months of speculation.

With news of the company's official launch kept under wraps until now, an excited Mia was forced to stay quiet about the project when she took to Twitter on Sunday (July 9).

"I’m overjoyed and bursting with pride right now…. You’ll understand tomorrow," she posted.

The Tweet set tongues wagging with many fans curious as to what the source of Mia's delight could be.

"Either you're getting married or you are pregnant," one wrote.

But the brunette beauty was quick to shut down the theory, retorting: "Better, I’m getting an abortion."

Fans were quick to respond to the bold reply. One said: "this is why i love u keep it up babes," while another chimed in: "You’re so real for this."

Sheytan is now accepting pre-orders for body chains, ankle bracelets and necklaces.

The brand has been in the works for several months, with Mia having teased its launch on numerous occasions in recent months.

But the label came under fire before it was even launched after fans accused the adult film star of being "obsessed with Islam" due to the name of the company, which translates to "devil" in Arabic, Mia's first language.

Taking to TikTok last year, the Lebanese-American model responded to criticism after one fan asked: "Lol so you're going to ignore the fact that Arabic is such a huge part of Islam? Why not name it Diabla then?"

Mia responded: "I wasn't going to justify these insane ramblings with an actual answer, but why would I name my company Diabla? I don't speak Spanish. I am Arab. I was born and raised in the Middle East. I am Lebanese. I speak Arabic.

"Most of you complaining in my comments have probably never even stepped foot in the Middle East. You probably live in Canada, America, the UK. Shut the f*** up."
