Mike Tindall's infamous photo of him appearing to discipline an errant Prince Louis during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee was just him 'keeping the future king's children in line', according to his mates
Mike married into the Royal Family through Zara Phillips (now Tindall) and was seen at a variety of events throughout June.
But one moment, in particular, attracted a lot of attention, as the former rugby ace attempted to settle the energetic young Prince.

Louis, 4, was the unexpected star of the show and lit up the celebration with his expressive facial expressions.
And during the Queen's pageant, it appears Mike was forced to intervene.
Snappers captured Tindall looking directly into Louis' eyes and pointing at his, in a clear 'I'm the big dog here' kind of way.
Commenting on the snap on Mike's The Good, The Bad and The Rugby podcast, friends James Haskell and Alex Payne asked what he had meant by it, reports People.
Haskell began by saying that Mike was enjoying "keeping the future king's children in line."
Payne then asked: "What were you actually doing at that point?"
Mike laughed and responded: "I actually can't remember, I can't remember what he was doing.
"He's such a good character he is, Louis.
"Louis, he was just wanting to have fun. And my two daughters are always mischievous, so it's trying to keep a lid on.
"There were a lot of sweets out back though, so there was a real sugar high."
