A MODEL found dead in her boyfriend's garage left a haunting note saying "nobody ever notices your pain".
The body Naba Savane, 27, was found by her partner at his home in Lombardy, Italy on Jan 3 and police are treating the case as suicide.
Naba's boyfriend immediately contacted emergency services and tried to resuscitate her, but medics confirmed her death on arrival, local media reports.
There is no suggestion that the model's partner committed any wrongdoing.
Investigators said they were treating the case as suicide after finding a note with the body.
The message reportedly read: "Nobody ever notices your pain, your tears or your little big gestures, but they will notice all your mistakes."
Despite this, the model's family believe the mum-of-one would never have killed herself.
While they have not publicly said what they believed happened, it appears they do not suspect her boyfriend.
They have launched a fundraiser to cover the funeral costs and provide money to help him raise Naba's one-year-old baby as a single parent.
The young woman's body has been sent for an autopsy on the order of prosecutor Barbara Benzi, but there have been no details on the results yet.
Naba, whose family are from the Ivory Coast, grew up in the town of Desenzano, on the shores of northern Italy’s Lake Garda, before launching her modelling career in France.
