Moment boxer sprints from his house in his pants to catch man robbing tools from his car leaving pleading thief in TEARS

THIS is the moment a kickboxer chased down a thief after he was spotted robbing tools from his car on CCTV.

Kian Shakouri, 29, sprinted out of the front door of his home in Bedworth, Warwickshire, in the early hours of Sunday morning after being alerted by his motion-detecting security camera.

According to Kian, his tools had been previously stolen twice and so was forced to install the CCTV in a bid to catch the thief.

Speaking to The Sun, the dad-of-one said: "I'd had been waiting for this moment.

"It had been done twice in the past but now it was my turn to get them back!"

And so he did, on Sunday morning around 6am, Kian woke to an alert from his motion-detecter which had picked up movement from outside of his home.

"At first I thought it was just a cat or the postman or something else," he told Metro.

"Then it alerted me again and I thought, 'I’d best have a look just in case'.

"I opened the app up and saw someone at the back of the car.

"At first I thought it might be my dad and then after about 10 seconds, I twigged. There wasn’t enough time to get dressed, I just bolted."

The CCTV showed the culprit, wearing a face covering and a hoodie, stealing Kian's tools that he used for his full-time job as a carpenter.

Reacting in seconds, Kian, who is a kickboxing trainer, raced outside just in his pants and chased down the thief in total darkness.

Terrified, the robber began to cry and dropped all the items he had taken including items he had stolen from other houses that night.

"As soon as I caught up with him he cowered, whimpered and cried," Kian told The Sun.

"Police told me that the keys I had taken off him were one of my neighbour's house keys.

"It was nice to be able to return them."

The short clip was posted by Kian on social media as a warning to his neighbours about the thief.

"This morning, this scum bag was caught stealing out of cars in Bedworth," Kian posted on Facebook.

"Be vigilant, keep your cars locked and desirable out of sight.

"Ring camera saved the day this time, along with captain underpants."

West Midlands Police have been contacted for comment.
