A picture show the moment Stephen Bear was arrested at Heathrow on his birthday returning from Dubai in January 2021.

The 33-year-old was detained after police were told he had shared a secret sex tape of his ex-girlfriend, Love Island contestant Georgia Harrison.

Bear hid in the airport bathrooms for five minutes before he was arrested and police searched bags belonging to him and his brother for electronic devices.

The disgraced Celebrity Big Brother contestant had shared a secret sex tape of 28-year-old Georgia on OnlyFans – making £2,000 from it online.

Judge Christopher Morgan today jailed Bear for 21 months and issued a restraining order against the TV personality.

Bear was arrested by police as he arrived in Heathrow on his 31st birthday in 2021. He has now been jailed for posting the sex tape of his former girlfriend on OnlyFans

In the picture which was released by Essex Police, several officers can be seen surrounding the television personality, who turned 31 on the day he was arrested in January 2021.

Dressed in an neon orange jacket and a bright yellow zip-up hoody, the Celebrity Big Brother contestant was detained by officers.

Prosecutor Jacqueline Carey KC told Chelmsford Crown Court that Bear spent five minutes in the toilet of the jet before being taken into police custody.

Officers searching his suitcase and another bearing his brother’s name, Robert Bear, said they could not find a phone or any other electronic device.

Bear denied travelling with his brother but during a search at the police station officers found a sim card key in his joggers.

The disgraced Celebrity Big Brother contestant, 33, shared a secret sex tape of 28-year-old Georgia on OnlyFans in November 2020 – making £2,000 from it online.

It had been captured on CCTV cameras in Bear’s garden on August 2, 2020 before being uploaded to the video subscription site and WhatsApp.

Ms Carey told jurors Bear upped his OnlyFans subscription price after it began to attract attention from people talking about the video online, increasing it from seven to 50 dollars before logging in 90 minutes later to reduce it to 20.

She said: ‘The suggestion that his account was hacked at all is palpable nonsense. He was the only person who had access by December 7.

‘And he was the only one to profit from the subscription hike. By December 7 the rumour mill was going.

A ‘relieved’ Georgia says her nightmare is finally over as pervert Stephen Bear is jailed

Georgia Harrison has told of her relief at Stephen Bear’s prison sentence and said she now feels ‘vindicated’.

‘Today’s sentence is a vindication of what I’ve been put through and sends a clear message that the police and the courts take this matter very seriously,’ she said in statement outside Chelmsford Crown Court today.

‘I want to let all other victims of this crime know that I stand in solidarity with them and I have absolutely no regrets in waiving my anonymity.

‘I hope that this puts anyone off committing this sort of crime and I hope for anyone else who’s been a victim of it gives them some sort of justice.’

‘He was getting traction on social media, a lot of people were looking at him. That is why he put the price up, so he could make a quick buck.’

Gemma Rose, defending Bear, told the jury: ‘You may not agree with Mr Bear’s views or his work online but this is not a court of morals. You must judge the case on the evidence that is put before you.

‘He received around £40,000 from OnlyFans but in respect of that video OnlyFans state the payment was 2,000 dollars.’

Ms Harrison said after the video was shared online ‘I was in the worst state of my life.’

‘I can’t explain the shame I felt. I did not want to leave my room. Instead of apologising, he put his subscription price up from £25 to £50,’ she told the court.

‘If he did it or not, which I believe he did, that is no way to act. It is brazen and he knows what he has done.’

Ms Harrison, who appeared on The Only Way Is Essex, was left devastated by the sex tape, with a judge today saying she had suffered ‘extensive humiliation and embarrassment’ at the hands of her perverted former lover.

Judge Christopher Morgan, sentencing Bear, said the shamed TV personality ‘wished to exploit the economic value of the recording’ of Bear and Ms Harrison having sex.

‘I’m sure that you recognised the enhanced economic value to you by having Georgia Harrison, a well-known reality TV and social media personality, in the video,’ the judge told the court.

Georgia Harrison leaves court on Friday afternoon after hearing her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear, who shared intimate videos of her online, sent down for 21 months

‘She would have been known and recognised by many people.’

Ms Harrison made an emotional statement outside court after listening to her ex-boyfriend be sentenced to 21 months in prison.

‘Today’s sentence is a vindication of what I’ve been put through and sends a clear message that the police and the courts take this matter very seriously,’ she added.

‘I want to let all other victims of this crime know that I stand in solidarity with them and I have absolutely no regrets in waiving my anonymity. I hope that this puts anyone off committing this sort of crime and I hope for anyone else who’s been a victim of it gives them some sort of justice.’

Georgia, who bravely waived her anonymity, today opened up about the devastation Bear’s antics had caused.

She said his perverted actions had turned her from a ‘happy go lucky’ person to someone who suffers panic attacks.

The traumatised reality star suffered from so many attacks in the Christmas following the video’s release that she had been kept in hospital for most of the festive period.

She added: ‘It’s my worst nightmare that any photo that should have been kept private would go public.

‘When Stephen bear filmed me without telling me it affected how I trust people. When I first saw the screenshot I felt physically sick.’

Speaking during his trial, Bear moaned: ‘In my opinion from the very beginning it was never a fair trial, what the press said against me.

‘I was fighting a losing battle and it is what it is.’

As Bear was led away to the cells, the remorseless influencer was heard saying: ‘Have a good evening, enjoy your weekends everyone.’

The Ex On The Beach contestant denied all charges and claimed at trial he deleted the footage and had shared it with no-one other than Ms Harrison.

Bear’s father – who is also called Stephen Bear – pictured today arriving at Chelmsford Crown Court to watch his son being sentenced for releasing his sex tape with ex Georgia Harrison

Dressed all in black, the convicted pervert Stephen Bear arrives at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday morning to be sentenced after releasing a private sex tape of him and his ex-girlfriend, Love Island star Georgia Harrison on OnlyFans

Bear had been found guilty at Chelmsford Crown Court of voyeurism and of two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.

Stephen Bear’s Twitter account advertised his adult website during sex tape trial

Reality TV star Stephen Bear’s Twitter account posted a ‘50% off’ deal for his adult entertainment website alongside a photo of him arriving at court while he was on trial.

During the trial, a photo of him walking from a hired chauffeur-driven white Rolls Royce to the court building was uploaded to his Twitter account.

The accompanying text with the post said, in block capitals: ‘50% off my adult site for the next 24 hours. ‘Come see why I’m trending.’

It included a smiling purple devil emoji, and a link to his website.

In the photo, taken on the first day of his trial, Bear wore a pink suit, black fur jacket and sunglasses.

Bear’s Twitter account describes him as an ‘international playboy’ and ‘self-made billionaire’.

It was not the first time that the Ex On The Beach star’s social media account had made reference to the court case taking place.

Before the trial, a poll on Bear’s Twitter account asked his followers ‘What colour suit should I wear to court on Tuesday (December 6)?’

Most of the votes were for ‘pink’, and the account later posted a short video of Bear, apparently inside a vehicle and wearing the pink suit that he wore on the first day of his trial.

In the clip he gave a thumbs up, and text over the video said that ‘pink won the vote’. The post was captioned ‘keeping it low key’, with a smiling tongue out emoji, and a paw prints emoji.

Later in the trial, Bear’s account posted a different video clip of him arriving at court with a caption over the footage reading ‘Never give up’.

The defendant, who wore different outfits to court, was pictured in another post carrying a cane as he waited for his girlfriend Jessica Smith to exit a Rolls Royce outside court, with the caption reading ‘Every king needs a queen’.

His account retweeted a post from Ms Smith’s account reading ‘I’ll always be by your side, even if the whole world is against you’.

It also shared a post from another account, reacting to footage of him arriving at court carrying a cane, which said ‘absolute legendary outfit, dressed like a king’.

Essex Police said that in February 2022, Bear was seen to be discussing the court case on social media, ‘clearly breaching his court bail conditions’, so he was further arrested and later charged.

Despite facing the possibility of a prison sentence, the sex offender appeared relaxed when he arrived at back at the crown court this morning for sentencing.

Wearing a black coat and dark sunglasses, the pervert waved and sang to journalists before posing for selfies with a fan. He even moaned about being convicted, saying his trial was ‘not fair’.

Ahead of today’s sentencing, the disgraced TV star released a compilation video on TikTok showing him with his current lover, Jessica Smith, saying ‘Brb, crying’.

The 3min 44sec video showed Bear licking his 23-year-old lover’s face, kissing her in front of the Eiffel Tower and feeding her a chicken leg to the remixed tune of ‘Somewhere Only We Know’. They’re also shown pouting and going on holiday.

Bear’s sycophantic fans were last night championing the convicted pervert on TikTok, with one saying ‘I love you so much xxxx’ as another said ‘Beautiful ♥️good luck’. A third added: ‘Good luck tomorrow.’

Georgia Harrison was praised by police officers involved with the case for her bravery and courage in trying to help other victims of the crime.

Essex Police Detective Constable Brian Sitch, investigating officer, said despite high levels of public interest, officers had managed to charge Bear with the three offences.

‘What Bear did was inexcusable and his actions along with his behaviour throughout the investigation and trial, demonstrated a complete lack of regard for Georgia Harrison’s feelings.

‘This young woman stood in a court room, in front of strangers and went over the most personal details of her private life. She had to sit her family down and explain to them that this video had been leaked.

‘This was all because Stephen Bear thought he could secretly film his former partner and he thought he could get away with appalling crimes in Essex.

‘Today he has been proved wrong thanks to relentless work to bring him to justice, and thanks to Georgia Harrison’s immense bravery.’

The officer continued: ‘We live in a society where we can share a photo or video at the click of a button.

‘Those who use social media platforms and those who manage these platforms must take responsibility and reflect on whether their behaviour is acceptable and legal.

‘Georgia has taken the silver lining from this huge cloud, that has been hanging over her for over two years and she now wants to help other victims.

‘I can’t commend her enough for her bravery and her patience.’

Following the sentencing, Hannah von Dadelszen, deputy chief crown prosecutor for CPS East of England praised the tormented reality star for her courage and dignity.

‘I want to commend Georgia Harrison for the bravery and determination she has shown throughout this case,’ she said.

‘We want to encourage victims to come forward, safe in the knowledge they will have lifelong anonymity and can have special measures put in place when appearing in court, like giving evidence from behind a screen.’
