THE DISTRAUGHT mum of a boy who drowned in a holiday park pool has paid tribute online with a handwritten note he wrote.
Farzane Caliskal updated her Facebook profile with a picture of a heartbreaking message from tragic five-year-old son Robin.
She showed how he scribbled "I love you mum", in a picture shared with family and friends following his death at Atlantic Reach Newquay in Cornwall.
He died after emergency services got frantic calls the youngster was in trouble in the water.
His family, from Plymouth in Devon, have now issued a heartfelt tribute – while also saying they didn't notice him getting into trouble in the water due to "low lighting" and "barriers".
They said young Robin "loved hugs" and was "very cute and clever".

The family had only been on holiday at the spot for an hour, with young Robin helping his mum Ferzane and dad Cemal pitch a tent.
They then headed down to the park pool for a swim, with Robin's six-month-old baby brother Renas who "he adored".
Cemal said the family snapped photos together just minutes before the horror unfolded.
He insisted: "I want every parent to see this story – this can't happen again.

"We are suffering pain and we don't want any parents to have a similar feeling.
"We just wanted to share this to stop it happening again, to any other parents and any other children."
Cemal said Robin had been with him in the main pool and asked to go to his mum and baby brother in the baby pool.
The dad claimed his boy got into trouble a short time later, but due to the "low lighting" and "barriers" the parents didn't notice immediately.
Atlantic Reach today said it was not yet appropriate to comment on Robin's death, other than to send condolences to the Caliskals.
Cops today confirmed they were now probing the horror incident, which unfolded yesterday.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a child at a holiday park in Newquay.
"Police were informed by the ambulance service that a five-year-old boy had drowned in a swimming pool within Atlantic Reach Holiday Park, yesterday afternoon.
"The boy is from the Plymouth area and his next of kin are aware, the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is to be prepared for the coroner.
"Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police along with representatives from Cornwall Council Health and Safety are undertaking enquiries in relation to the circumstances surrounding this death."
Atlantic Reach this afternoon told The Sun: "We do not feel it is appropriate to comment further at this stage, except to say our thoughts are with the family at this time.
