A MUM has opened up about her agony after her boyfriend allegedly murdered her baby girl..
Sarah Nash's three-month-old daughter Elyssia was found critically injured and unresponsive at her home in Perth, Australia on March 12.
Little Elyssia was taken to hospital but died two days later from a "catastrophic" brain injury – and Ms Nash's boyfriend Zach Meier has been charged with the baby's murder.
An emotional Ms Nash spoke of her grief after Elyssia's death, saying she couldn't describe "the heartbreak I am going through".
She told the West Australian: "To my beautiful bubba girl, Ely… I love you always and forever.
"[Elyssia had] a melt-your-heart smile. She was very curious, always looking around at everyone.
"And she was a little ginge like her mum."
The final moments of Elyssia's life are being put together by investigators.
On the day the little girl was rushed to hospital, both Ms Nash and Meier were celebrating their 30th birthdays.
According to Ms Nash, Meier ran to her nurse neighbour's house to ask her to perform CPR on Elyssia.
Emergency workers then took the baby to hospital.
Elyssia's dad Robert Ahrens shared a heartfelt message to his daughter on Facebook.
He wrote: "My baby girl Elyssia taken from us way too early at only three months old."
Meier was charged with grievous bodily hard initially, but that has now been upgraded to murder.
He appeared in court via video link from prison, and was remanded in custody until April 28.
