Mystery as children’s clothes and school uniform found on bank of River Adur as cops launch probe | The Sun

COPS have launched an investigation after a child's school uniform was found on a river bank.

The children's clothes were discovered at the River Adur in Sussex on Saturday.

A police spokesperson said: "On the 24 June 2023, police were called to the River Adur near to the Ropetackle, due to clothing being found along the river banks.

"Based on the sizes of the clothing and one item being a Shoreham Acadamy blazer, they are believed to belong to a teenager.

"While we have no information to suggest anyone has entered the river, we want to ensure the welfare of whoever owns the clothes."

If you recognise the items please contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting reference number 0739 24/06/2023.
