Parents said Zelinger was only recently married – a site called Camryn Zelinger and Casey Long's Wedding Website tells of the couple’s marriage last August in a park in Anaheim,

How they revealed she would ask other teachers to remove the female pupil out of class, so she could spend time with the girl she was having the alleged affair with.

Tiffany Florez, who has children at the school told KTLA she was stunned when she heard about the arrest: “The way she is and the way she interacts with the children, you would never suspect.

“You would never think she would do something like that.”

According to cops, Zelinger had an “inappropriate physical contact and communications” with the student for a couple of months.

She now faces charges of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor and annoying or molesting a child under 18.

She was booked into Robert Presley Detention Center before being released on $50,000 bail on Tuesday.

The school, which focuses on music, dance, acrobatics, said councillors would be on hand for students through “this difficult time.

"This team will be in place throughout the week and as long as students need.”

Police said: “Encore High School for the Arts has fully cooperated with the investigation and have stated the teacher is no longer employed with them.”
