Evacuation orders are now in place for:
- Lismore
- Kyogle
- Wiangaree
- Tumbulgum
- South Murwillumbah
- Condong
- Uki
- Ocean Shores, New Brighton, Brunswick Heads and South Gold Beach
- Billinudgel and the Pockets
Casino has been told to prepare for evacuation.

Search resumes for Lismore man caught in floodwaters
NSW Police will resume the search today for a man who is feared to have been washed down a drain in Lismore.
Officers saw the man near Brewster Street and Uralba Street in Lismore at 4pm on Sunday but lost sight of him while he called for help.
Police Rescue entered the water on Sunday and searched the area; however, they could not find him.

Here is the latest on the unfolding emergency:
- Seven deaths have now been reported in Queensland, with police confirming the death of a 59-year-old man from Carseldine on Monday morning who was swept away by floodwaters. It comes as NSW Police resume the search for a man who is feared dead in Lismore.
- The Lismore levee was breached on Monday morning with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting river levels of 14 metres. This would mark the city’s worst flood in history.
- A number of people are stuck in their homes in Lismore as the NSW SES continues to be inundated with calls.
