A nurse who treated New York’s coronavirus “patient zero” has settled her suit alleging a hospital grossly mishandled the virus, resulting in she and her whole family getting extremely sick from it, new court papers show.

Crishila Livacarri sued NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville in May 2020, claiming that healthcare workers there “were offered up as sacrificial lambs to be slaughtered by the COVID-19 virus,” according to the suit.

Documents filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Wednesday by lawyers on both sides reveal that the suit was resolved — though the terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

Livacarri said she helped care for lawyer Lawrence Garbuz at the Westchester County hospital after he was admitted Feb. 27, 2020.

Garbuz, 51 — who Gov. Cuomo dubbed the state’s coronavirus “patient zero” — was diagnosed with pneumonia and showed signs of having COVID-19 and Livacarri claimed it was still five days before he was finally tested in early March. He has since recovered.

Despite voicing concerns, Livacarri and other staff weren’t given the proper personal protective equipment when they tended to Garbuz and the hospital failed to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidelines, she claimed.

Livacarri, her husband and her teenage son all came down with the contagion and have suffered from debilitating physical and mental injuries, she alleged.

Livacarri’s lawyer, Michael Barrows, told The Post that while he can’t disclose settlement figures he can say, “The resolution encompasses a Workers Compensation award and an award in the civil case.”

A lawyer for the hospital did not immediately return a request for comment.
