A SECOND NYPD police officer has died after being injured in a shooting in Harlem.
Officer Wilbert Mora, 27, underwent two operations and was fighting for his life in the hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
Officer Jason Rivera, 22, was also shot on Friday night while answering a call about an argument between a woman and her adult son.
Suspect LaShawn McNeil, 47, was in critical condition after being shot by a third NYPD officer during a domestic disturbance call inside his mother's Harlem apartment on Friday.
McNeil died from his injuries after being shot in the right arm and head by a third cop, Sumit Sulan.
The suspect's mother and another son were in the living room while McNeil was in the rear bedroom and not visible.
When Rivera and Mora approached the bedroom, McNeil allegedly opened fire, striking both officers.

As the suspect left the bedroom and attempted to exit the apartment, he encountered Sulan, who fired twice at McNeil.
Investigators recovered a Glock.45 handgun equipped with a high-capacity magazine that holds up to 40 extra rounds.
Police believe the gun was purchased illegally in Baltimore and are still trying to determine the origin of the high-capacity ammo clip.
Mora suffered a serious head wound, police said.
The medical examiner ruled Rivera’s death a homicide on Saturday after an autopsy found he died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
The alleged gunman was on probation for a 2003 felony narcotics conviction in New York City, NYPD Chief of detectives James Essig said on Friday, as well as serving previous arrests outside of the Big Apple.
In 1998, he was arrested in South Carolina for unlawful possession of a weapon, although this was later dismissed.
McNeil was then busted for assaulting a police officer in Pennsylvania in 2002.
The following year he was arrested twice in Pennsylvania, once on a felony drug charge and a misdemeanor narcotics charge.
NYPD HORROR
The Harlem shooting came just a day after an NYPD detective was shot and injured during a drug bust on Staten Island.
Dominick Libretti, the injured detective, suffered a potential “career-ending injury” when a suspect fired “numerous shots” through a bedroom door, according to reports.
On Tuesday, officer Kaseem Pennant was shot in the leg by a teenage suspect in The Bronx.
On New Year’s Day, Officer Keith Wagenhauser was hit with bullet fragments as he sat in his car outside an East Harlem police station after his shift.
He was expected to make a full recovery.
The last NYPD member to be killed on the job was Anastasios Tsakos, 43, who was struck by an alleged drunk driver on the Long Island Expressway last April.
