Open floor plans, big windows, outdoor decks let homebuyers enjoy the sunshine

Oakwood Homes brings affordable luxury to Erie Highlands with its popular Carriage House collection.

The contemporary homes offer a low-maintenance lifestyle and plenty of livable outdoor space. They’re a welcome addition to Oakwood Homes’ master-planned Erie Highlands neighborhood, which sits 25 minutes from downtown Denver and 20 minutes from Boulder’s tech campuses.

Curtis Allan, Oakwood Homes regional sales manager, says the Carriage House collection will help meet the demand for new homes in Erie Highlands.

“Carriage House is an excellent collection,” Allan says. “By working with our professional interior design team, we’ll be able to offer these contemporary homes quickly.”

Six floor plans with flexible space

The collection includes six floor plans for two- and three- story houses. Each home is a stand alone single family home, with a fenced backyard. Instead of losing space to driveways, houses will share a European-inspired auto-court using brick pavers.

Carriage Homes include: front-yard landscaping, landscaping maintenance, snow removal and trash service. The 153 new homes border Clayton Park, a seven-acre park that includes ball fields, bike trail, picnic and playground areas, two zip lines and a hill slide.

Oakwood Homes already has a long interest list for the new houses, so prospective buyers are encouraged to contact the sales office soon to schedule an appointment for the Feb. 12 Carriage House grand opening celebration.

The houses, some of which will be ready by May, offer open layouts with big kitchen islands and flexible space that could be bedrooms, offices, or family rooms. To maximize living space, the floor plans also provide a mix of rooftop decks, balconies, covered front patios and rear decks.

“It’s so pretty out here that people want to spend lots of time outside and these houses are designed to let them make the most of that time,” says Maggie Tramuta, Erie Highlands new home sales counselor.

Affordable price appeals to first-time buyers

Pricing is now finalized and will be from low $500s – $600s.

That makes them an affordable option, says Richie Koschau, Erie Highlands new home sales counselor.

“If you’re trying to become a homeowner, this is an attractive option,” he says.

“Not only are the houses more affordable, they also are low-maintenance, so you won’t have to spend time worrying about taking care of a yard,” Koschau says. “Instead, you can spend more time outside.”
