TWO parents accused of killing their 16-year-old daughter by letting her become morbidly obese appeared in court today.
Kaylea Titford was found dead in bed at her home in Powys, Wales, in October 2020.
Her dad Alun Titford, 44, and mum Sarah Lloyd-Jones, 39, have been accused of failing to ensure Kaylea's needs were met – leading to morbid obesity.
They also allegedly failed to ensure she got enough exercise and was in a hygienic condition and didn't seek "reasonable medical help".
The pair were charged with gross negligence manslaughter and causing or allowing the death of a child or vulnerable person.
