THE partner of missing mum Constance Marten raped a neighbour while armed with garden shears when he was 14, it has been reported.
Mark Gordon, who vanished with the aristocrat and her newborn baby more than two weeks ago, was jailed for the attack in 1989.
The Birmingham-born sex offender spent 20 years behind bars in Broward County, Florida, before moving back to the UK with his mum and siblings in 2010.
Court documents show Gordon broke into his victim's home through her bathroom window before entering her bedroom, The Daily Mail reports.
With a pair of tights covering his face and hedge clippers and a kitchen knife in each hand, the then-teenager ordered her to undress, it is said.
He then sexually assaulted and raped the resident during a four-and-a-half-hour ordeal, records show.

Two young children were reportedly asleep in the next-door room.
After six weeks on the run, six charges were finally brought against Gordon, including armed kidnapping, armed sexual battery and burglary with a deadly weapon.
He admitted the attack, was convicted on all counts and was locked up for 20 years.
But during the period before his arrest, Gordon battered a man on the head with a shovel in his own home.

He later confessed to the violent raid.
Gordon's past has come to light during a nationwide hunt for him, his partner and their baby.
The trio have been missing since January 5, when they abandoned their burning car on the M61 near Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Cops believe Constance, 35, may have only had the infant a day or two earlier and neither has been assessed by doctors.
They fear both may need urgent medical attention and have appealed directly to them to "do the right thing" and come forward.
Officers have also asked the public to report any sightings.
Since their disappearance, Gordon, Constance and the youngster have been spotted in Essex and London.
The last confirmed sighting was near East Ham station in East London on January 7.
TIES TO ROYALTY
The couple, who are said to have lived reclusively for the last six years, are paying for transport and accommodation in cash and using fake names.
There are fears they are living off Constance's multimillion pound trust fund and may be able to evade detection for long periods.
Constance comes from a long line of wealthy landowners with ties to the Royal Family.
Her dad Napier Marten is a former page to the late Queen while her grandmother Mary Anna Marten OBE, whose godmother was the late Queen Mother, was a playmate to Princess Margaret.
Constance, once an "it" girl actress who appeared in Tatler magazine, grew up in a £34million mansion in the Dorset countryside and is understood to have access to substantial savings, despite being estranged from her relatives, The Times reports.
Gordon, 48, is understood to have met his partner after she dropped out of drama school in 2016 and cut ties with her family and friends.
They lived an isolated life together before the missing persons investigation was launched earlier this month, it is believed.
Neither Gordon nor Constance, who also goes by nickname Toots, has had any contact with their families since they disappeared, it is thought.
We are deeply concerned for your and your baby's welfare.
Constance's dad this week pleaded with his "darling daughter" to find safety, insisting he will do "whatever is necessary" to get her home.
He told The Independent the family has lived with "great concern" knowing of Gordon's past "for some time".
Napier added: "I beseech you to find a way to turn yourself and your wee one in to the police as soon as possible so you and he or she can be protected.
"I wish you to understand you are much, much loved, whatever the circumstances.
"We are deeply concerned for your and your baby's welfare."
Gordon's mum Sylvia also said she was "very concerned".
The 83-year-old, who claimed her son and Constance secretly got married "some time ago", told the Mail: "I am very concerned. I love my son. He is a good boy so I don't know what this is all about.
"I am worried for all of them. I am thinking, I wonder if someone kidnapped them."
And Constance's pal Noisette Tahoun, whom she met while studying abroad in Egypt as part of her degree, called on her to get in touch.
She told The Mirror: "Constance is a magnificent person and just awesome, very kind and fun to be around. She's spontaneous and the life of the party.
"I really wish to know anything about her and how she's doing.
