A family has paid tribute to a 24-year-old mother who died two days after being struck by a car.
Hollie Hodgkinson was stuck by a car in Harlow, Essex on Sunday and spent three days surrounded by her family before she passed away.
Her family paid tribute on a GoFundMe appeal to raise funds for her funeral. ‘We as a family are absolutely devastated… everyone that knew Hollie would know just how many hearts she touched how lovely and smiley she could be.’
The incident happened on First Avenue, Harlow near St Mary at Latton Church around 10.30am on Sunday, July 2.

Ms Hodgkinson, pictured, was described as ‘smiley’ and touched many people’s lives before her life was cut tragically short
Essex Police confirmed the driver stopped at the scene and the driver is helping them with their enquiries.
Police said they would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage from the scene.
In a GoFundMe tribute, the family said they remained by her bedside until she died.
It said: ‘She was only young and had so much more life to live yet but it was cut short
‘We as a family are absolutely devastated… everyone that knew Hollie would know just how many hearts she touched how lovely and smiley she could be.
‘We know she deserves the best day on her funeral!! This shouldn’t be happening at all but we will for her our Hollie. She also left behind a gorgeous son whom now will have a huge family to share all the stories about his beautiful Mummy .
‘If you would like to help towards her funeral costs we would really appreciate it. Every single penny will help and we will as a family forever be grateful to you all for helping give Hollie the send off she so deserves.
‘Till we see you again My baby sister we will be strong for you.’
